About this service
Ultrasonic scaling removes tartar from the tooth surface and from under the gum line. Badly damaged teeth that cause pain are extracted. Procedures are done under anaesthesia for a thorough, stress-free clean.
We also treat jaw fractures and remove canine teeth when indicated, for example baby teeth that did not fall out on time.

Frequently asked questions
Why does dental scaling need anaesthesia?
To clean safely below the gum line and on the inner side of the teeth. Scaling an awake animal is only cosmetic and stressful for the pet.
How often should my pet have a dental clean?
It depends on the animal: some yearly, others less often. Regular brushing at home greatly extends the time between procedures.
