About this service
Many basic tests are run right in the clinic, on the day of the visit. We do not send samples away and wait for days, which matters enormously in acute cases.
The laboratory covers haematology, blood and urine biochemistry, parasitology (including blood parasites) and the diagnosis of skin conditions.

Frequently asked questions
Should my pet fast before blood tests?
For biochemistry, ideally 8–12 hours without food; water is fine. For young animals and emergencies, tests can be done at any time.
How long do results take?
Many basic tests are ready the same day. Bacterial cultures take longer; we will tell you when we take the sample.
How do I bring a urine or stool sample?
In a sterile container (from a pharmacy). The sample should be fresh, collected no more than a few hours beforehand.
